About the Author

Aldric was born in Elyria, Ohio and spent the first half of their life in the Buckeye state. From a young age, even play was was centered around performance and storytelling, with each of their games being a "show" with its own name and time block on their imaginary TV network. In 4th grade Aldric was invited to join one of the choirs in The Oberlin Choristers, introducing him to the stage. In middle school they were put in advanced placement creative writing and was quickly encouraged to treat it as more than a passing compulsory subject; launching their first works in poetry and story writing. In high school Aldric fell in love with theatre, both as a set and lighting technician, and an actor. For most of the next decade their creative works focused on being a playwright and volunteering at Workshop Players Community Theatre in Amherst, Ohio; culminating in several years on the Board of Trustees at the theatre that was a second home to them for so many years. In 2015, Aldric tried their hand and long form storytelling again publishing their first novel Resolution: Bad Star under the name M. L. Wulff. In 2020 Aldric brought their ongoing D&D campaign Winds of Earrenia public launching Bold Wolf Gaming with both the actual-play and gaming streams. In 2023 Aldric and their family moved to Minnesota and began re-imagining their life as a creative and a storyteller. Aldric started Bold Wolf Studios as an outlet for their many creative projects, and started their novels and short stories from scratch as subscriber supported serials on Substack.
